Expo - What you need to knowThe SA Sheep Expo initiative was created to address the need for junior development within the sheep and lamb industries.The SA Sheep Expo aims to bring together young sheep enthusiasts to learn and discuss the latest technologies and skills available for running successful and sustainable commercial and stud enterprises. It also provides exposure to career opportunities and pathways that young people can follow to achieve a career in the industry.The Expo takes place over three days during the SA April holidays, and is aimed at participants in high school. The three-day event is a 3-day stay-on-site program that caters to each age group.The Expo is open to all young sheep lovers aged between 12 and 23. Age groups are divided as follows:Juniors - aged 12 to 14Intermediate - 15-17 yearsSeniors - 18 to 22 yearsThe competition will be divided into age categories to maximize learning. There are also major prizes and incentives available for all age groups.THE LOCATION/VENUEAdelaide Showground in Wayville, South AustraliaThe Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society is a strong supporter of the SA Sheep Expo. Adelaide Showground provides the ideal venue for the Expo.The Adelaide Showground can be found in Wayville, South Australia.
