Each year, the Ohio Township Association holds its annual conference in Columbus to educate township officials. It also provides networking opportunities for township officials from across Ohio. The conference offers OTA members a chance to learn more about Ohio's towns with its 80 educational workshops, 150 vendor trade show, and various networking and entertainment activities.
The conference information is released each year in the late fall. The OTA will provide housing and registration information via its Upcoming Events page, the Ohio Township News November/December magazine and other publications.
Workshops are available in several different tracks including trustees and fiscal officers as well as roads, zoning and safety services. The OTA offers classes designed specifically for newly-elected officials.
In the fall of 2024, the OTA will issue a call for topics and speakers.
