NEUE ArT - Mit Kunst und Design ins neue Veranstaltungsjahr
Art and design are key to the new event season.
The MESSE DRESDEN calendar traditionally begins the year with the design and lifestyle trade show room+style, and the NEUE arT art fair. Over the past three-days, room+style focused on design, fashion, interiors, art, and food. NEUE arT, on the other hand, offered a fascinating field of contemporary art that gave viewers a very personal perspective of the works of artists. Artworks from different genres were available for discussion and experience.
Around 10,000 visitors were wowed by the high-quality furniture, product design and accessories, as well as creative craftsmanship. Around 240 exhibitors from the region and country competed for attention with their sophisticated exhibition stands, designs, art works, fashion shows, and special exhibitions.
Ulrich Finger, director of the trade fair, sums it up as follows: "In combination with room+style that has a unique character and atmosphere, the NEUE arT allows for an interesting journey through the landscape of contemporary art. Visitors can actively engage in art, see it and buy it. They are a perfect match. We are pleased to have seen a slight rise in visitors, and to continue to enjoy a loyal visitor base. "Three successful days of trends and news in the fields design, fashion and arts are our motivation for 2020.".
The catwalk in the BORSE BORSE DRESDEN ballroom was a magnet for visitors, as it featured selected labels displaying their FASHION CUTOUTS in a variety of different styles. The special exhibition of works by painter and graphic designer Heinz-Detlef Moosdorf was another attraction.
