Tom Arthur became Minister of Community Wealth and Public Finance (March 2023)He was born in Paisley, Scotland, in 1985. In 2016, he won the election for Renfrewshire South, and will hold the seat until 2021. In May 2021, he joined the Scottish Government in the role of Minister for Public Finance Planning and Community Wealth.Mr Arthur was born in Barrhead and educated at Barrhead High School, Cross Arthurlie Primary School, East Renfrewshire. He received a Bachelor of Arts and later a Master of Arts from the University of Glasgow. He worked as a keyboardist, piano teacher, and company director before entering politics.

Gordon joined NHS National Services Scotland in December 2019. He previously worked at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde where he held various procurement roles since 2001. Gordon led the national procurement response for COVID-19 during his first period in the new role. He is now focused on shaping National Procurement so that it can meet future challenges.Gordon began his career in 1986, as a graduate in food manufacturing. He then spent 10 year in the power sector before joining the NHS.His cocker spaniels, which are now a part of a family that is grown up, ensure that he and wife can continue to live an active life outdoors in their spare time. He enjoys sailing and caravanning with family and friends.
